The result of a new study conducted by the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology suggests that the majority of occupations identified as being at risk of displacement by artificial intelligence are currently not economically feasible to automate. MIT Research Scientist Neil Thompson stated, “The upcoming loss of employment due to artificial intelligence will occur more slowly and less dramatically than suggested by some commentators.”
