In its latest report, the World Bank reduced its 2023 growth forecast for Turkey by 0.5 percentage points to 2.7 percent. The forecast for 2024 remained unchanged at 4 percent. In the report, the global growth forecast for 2023 was also lowered, and it was warned that new shocks could put the global economy into recession.
