According to data compiled from the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, the amount of cargo transported by Turkish-flagged vessels in foreign trade increased by 22.9 percent to 2 million 922 thousand tons in June compared to the same month last year, while the container volume rose by 15.2 percent to 90 thousand 201 TEUs.
