Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu announced that 17 thousand 738 athletes and 512 trainers in 11 provinces affected by the earthquake were contacted and support was provided in line with their needs. Emphasizing that measures have been taken to prevent the athletes from losing their rights, Minister Kasapoğlu stated that the sports clubs that had to withdraw from the competitions will continue their activities next season.
