As Spotify reaches a monthly total of 551 million active users worldwide, it has also increased its subscription prices. The company has seen a 17% increase in the number of paying subscribers compared to last year, allowing them to raise their revenues by 11%, reaching $3.5 billion by the end of the second quarter. In the US, an individual premium plan will now cost $10.99 instead of the previous $9.99. In Turkey, as of July 24th, Spotify prices will start from 40 TL after the recent price hike.
