Retail volume at constant prices increased 12.1 percent year-on-year in November. In November, the increase was 1.5 percent.

Turkish Statistical Institute announced the retail sales indices for the period of November 2022. Accordingly, retail sales volume at constant prices increased by 1.5 percent in November compared to the previous month. In this period, sales of food, beverages and tobacco decreased by 0.9 percent and automotive fuel sales by 0.6 percent, while non-food sales (excluding automotive fuel) increased by 3.3 percent. Retail sales volume at constant prices increased by 12.1% in November compared to the same month of the previous year. In the same month, sales of food, beverages and tobacco increased by 5.7 percent, non-food sales (excluding automotive fuel) by 17.7 percent and automotive fuel sales by 3.9 percent. 125 PERCENT INCREASE IN REVENUES Retail turnover at current prices increased by 125.4 percent in November compared to the same month of the previous year. In the same month, food, beverage and tobacco sales increased by 120.8 percent, non-food sales (excluding automotive fuel) increased by 121.2 percent, and automotive fuel sales increased by 148.2 percent. Retail turnover rose 4.9 percent in November compared to the previous month. In the same month, sales of food, beverages and tobacco increased by 4.8 percent, non-food sales (excluding automotive fuel) by 6.4 percent, and automotive fuel sales by 1.1 percent.
