Natural gas exploration in the Black Sea continues rapidly. It is expected that 540 billion cubic meters of natural gas in the region will be connected to the national system in the first quarter of 2023. ZBEÜ Faculty Member Dr. İshak Turan said, “As new discoveries and additional good news come, half and more of the gas consumed by Turkey can be met from here.”
