Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, in the article he shared with the employees of the company, stated that he was going through a period of important changes and that he had meetings with customers and business partners. Stating that customers are optimizing their digital spending, Nadella said, “We also see that organizations in every industry and geography are acting cautiously as some parts of the world are in recession and others are waiting for recession.” made its assessment. Nadella noted that the company is confident that it will emerge stronger and more competitive from this situation, but that steps should be taken in line with these developments. Nadella reminded that this number corresponds to less than 5 percent of Microsoft’s total number of employees and emphasized that while eliminating positions in some areas, they will continue to recruit in important strategic areas.
