Atilla Benli, the President of the Insurance Association of Turkey (TSB), announced that, contrary to the rumors, the premiums in automobile insurance did not increase, but decreased. He said that the developments in inflation, the change in exchange rates, the minimum wage, the increase in vehicle fair values and spare parts costs were reflected in automobile insurance premiums.
