German basketball club Bayern Munich acquired Malcolm Thomas on Tuesday as the US center signed a one-year contract with an option for another season.
“Malcolm is now a EuroLeague veteran. He will help us considerably on the frontcourt with his experience, his basketball IQ, and his athleticism,” Bayern Sporting Director Daniele Baiesi said in a statement published on the club’s website.
Thomas, 31, averaged 2.9 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.1 assists in 12 games in the EuroLeague with Turkey’s Fenerbahce Beko last season.
Also, Fenerbahce Beko thanked Thomas for his contributions to team, and wished him success for the new chapter of his career.
