The Ministry of Labor and Social Security announced that 50/D research assistants within the scope of the work of recruiting contracted personnel in the public sector were excluded from the scope of the regulation on the grounds that they would be included in another draft to be prepared by the Higher Education Council (YÖK).

The Ministry of Labor and Social Security announced that 50-D research assistants were excluded from the staffing arrangement of contracted personnel in the public sector, as they will be included in another draft to be prepared by the Higher Education Council (YÖK). According to the written statement of the Ministry, deliberations on the Civil Servants Law and some Laws and the Law Proposal Amending the Decree Law No. 663, which includes the appointment of contracted personnel working in the public sector, which was submitted to the Presidency of the Grand National Assembly on 13 January, are continuing at the Planning and Budget Committee of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. Research assistants with 50-D, who were previously included in the scope of the study, were excluded from the scope of the said regulation in the Plan and Budget Committee of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, on the grounds that they would be included in another draft to be prepared by YÖK. With the work carried out by the Ministry, the staffing problem, which has been on the agenda for many years, of approximately 500 thousand employees working under contract in the public sector has been resolved. The recruitment of 458 thousand 615 contracted personnel working in the public sector was signed as a result of the negotiations between the Ministry of Labor and Social Security and Memur-Sen, together with the 6th Term Collective Agreement.
