Central Bank reserves fell to 120.4 billion dollars

Total reserves of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) decreased by 811 million dollars in the week of March 3 compared to the previous week and decreased to 120 billion 359 million dollars.

Weekly Money and Bank Statistics were published by the CBRT. Accordingly, as of March 3, the gross foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank decreased by 1 billion 699 million dollars to 70 billion 281 million dollars. Gross foreign exchange reserves were at the level of 71 billion 980 million dollars on February 24. In the said period, gold reserves increased by 888 million dollars from 49 billion 190 million dollars to 50 billion 78 million dollars. Thus, the Central Bank’s total reserves decreased from 121 billion 170 million dollars to 120 billion 359 million dollars in the week of March 3, with a decrease of 811 million dollars compared to the previous week.
